Join us for a two-part online series to explore how innovation can transform your practice. Each day will conclude with an interactive discussion forum for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and discussing common challenges.

Day 1: Technology and Billing Models (Tuesday, February 11, 2025)

In today's fast-evolving legal landscape, technology and innovative billing practices are reshaping how lawyers deliver value to their clients. This session will explore how lawyers are using technology to enhance efficiency and reimagining traditional billing models to improve their bottom line.

The topics will include:

  • AI in Legal Practice: Live demonstrations showcasing how lawyers are using artificial intelligence in their practice
  • Value-based Billing: Experienced lawyers share their journeys of transitioning from traditional billable hours to value-based billing, offering tips and lessons learned

Day 2: People-Centred Management Strategies (Thursday, March 6, 2025)

Lawyer retention is essential for maintaining a capable, engaged, and stable workforce, ultimately leading to better client service and long-term success for law firms. This session will explore innovative approaches to managing human capital and provide real-world examples of how to create a people-centred culture that promotes efficiency, retention, and growth.

The agenda will include:

  • Innovative People Management Practices: Panelists discuss flexible work structures, performance metrics, mentorship strategies, compensation models, and more
  • Utilizing Non-lawyer Staff: Hear from legal professionals on creative ways to leverage non-lawyer talent in their firms
