Join us for a comprehensive two-part series on working with the PPSA.

Working with the PPSA: A Primer (June 1) will provide you with an overview of PPSA laws, principles, and procedures. Day 1 is designed to introduce the workings of the PPSA to lawyers who are new to the area and to brush up on PPSA principles for experienced lawyers.

You will learn about:

  • categories of personal property and drafting collateral descriptions
  • how to perform registrations and searches
  • priorities, PMSIs, and subordination agreements
  • enforcement procedures

Working with the PPSA: Special Topics (June 8) will provide a PPSA update focused on recent and emerging issues, from negotiating security agreements to special financings. Day 2 will provide you with essential information on the major developments in this area and cover issues of importance for business lawyers.

You will get up to date on:

  • the new PPSA legal opinion
  • recent amendments to the PPSA Regulations
  • real estate related PPSA matters
  • change in location of debtor and transition rules
  • unique and creative uses for the PPSA

Join us on Day 1, Day 2, or both days for a discussion of these important issues.
