Who should attend: Employment lawyers, in-house counsel, and human resources professionals

Learning level: All levels

Employment law continues to develop rapidly and pose unique challenges. This conference will, once again, feature an agenda curated from the submissions and suggestions of leading employment lawyers, explore emerging and topical issues in employment law, and provide updates on notable recent developments. The conference continues to be the annual must-attend event for all practitioners in the area of employment law.

We are very fortunate to have Ellis Ross, MLA (Skeena) and former Chief Councillor of the Haisla Nation, as our featured lunch speaker. He will join us to discuss truth and reconciliation in the context of business leadership and employment practices.

Conference attendees (both attending in person or online) are invited to join faculty at the conclusion of Day 1 of the conference (Coast Coal Harbour Hotel, Grouse Room, 4th Floor). A special thank you to Cooperwilliams Truman LLP for hosting this reception.

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1 hour pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management). Please note: The CPD hours of the rebroadcast will either meet or exceed the CPD hours of the original live webinar course.
