Certified Financial Planner professionals regularly use modeling to illustrate retirement income levels for their clients.  This financial modeling is an invaluable tool when done by CFP professionals with divorce financial planning expertise. It gives clients a quick and easy way to see the effects of a wide range of options. Financial modeling allows lawyers and mediators to help clients understand the implications of the settlement options under consideration.
Join Doreen Gardner Brown, BHEc CFP and Carla Lewis, BA LLB from Lewis McCourt and Diane Bell LLB from Clark Wilson to discuss situations where financial modeling or projections can help resolve cases, particularly when clients are approaching their retirement years.

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 1 hour. This course will NOT involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management.

Registration will include reference materials. Note: You will receive an email with a link to the online version of the materials approximately one day before the course.
