This two-hour practice session is a focused refresher for lawyers and mediators who have previously completed CLEBC's Engaging Conflict in the Moment: Using Curiosity to Turn Conflict into Cooperation and want to strengthen their ability to respond effectively when conflict escalates in real time.
This session returns to the core Insight framework of leveraging targeted curiosity to reduce defensiveness, discover important information, and move conversations forward effectively when things get heated.
Participants will have the opportunity to talk through challenging interactions and practice curiosity-based conflict communication skills through structured drills and scenario-based exercises.
