Stephanie Sutherland is a lawyer, Bencher with Law Society of Ontario, and an ADHD/Neurodiversity and mental health advocate.

In this lunch-hour session, she will provide a candid, practical, and experience-informed look at how neurodiversity shows up in legal environments, and how the profession can better support it. Attendees will gain an understanding of what neurodiversity encompasses, common strengths and challenges experienced by neurodivergent lawyers and clients, and the ways traditional legal culture can unintentionally pose barriers.

Drawing on her lived experience and professional insight, Stephanie Sutherland will share concrete strategies for improving communication, collaboration, and client service when working with neurodivergent colleagues and clients. Attendees will leave this presentation with actionable tools to build more adaptive, effective, and inclusive legal practices.
