Come join us for interesting presentations on three aspects of wills and estates: estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation.
Paralegals and legal support staff will be exposed to complex issues of estate planning, such as corporate asset planning and looking at inter vivos and testamentary trusts. The ever-popular topic on passing of accounts will also be explained in detail. There will also be selected topics in advanced probate and estate administration. Finally, we will delve into the world of estate litigation, with chosen matters to be discussed.
This course is for anyone looking to expand their skillsets in these three areas of wills and estates, and will feature engaging and experienced speakers on each topic.
Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1 hour pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
