About the Course Instructors
With a 33 year career under her belt, 26 of which have been working exclusively in business valuations and litigation support, Patti Daum enjoyed eight years as a partner in a National Accounting firm's business valuations group and the last eight years running her own firm, Daum Valuation and Financial Services Ltd. She is now thrilled to be joining forces with Lucas, forming Daum Terpkosh Valuations LLP (DT Valuations).
Qualified numerous times as an independent financial expert in the Supreme Court of BC and at arbitration matters, Patti is an effective communicator and skilled at making the complex, understandable.
Patti's communication style and desire to help clients move through difficult circumstances, contributes significantly to the timely resolution of financial matters that she is involved with, in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution contexts.
Patti has worked with numerous small to mid-sized business owners in valuing their businesses in most industries for a variety of reasons: financing, purchase or sale, corporate reorganizations, assisting with valuation provisions in shareholder agreements, and resolution of a conflict within the shareholder group.
A significant portion of Patti's practice is in the family law space, and Patti has a track record of helping clients successfully reach resolution on valuation and Guideline income issues in both litigation and collaborative divorce matters.
