Our world continues to change rapidly, and as information is shared, we are learning more and more each day about neurodiversity. In this webinar, we welcome two professionals who work and live in the neurodivergent space and who will introduce you to this part of the world.
The webinar will canvas:
- definitions of neurodiversity/neurodivergence, AD(H)D, autism, AudAD(H)D, giftedness, and their common companions, including learning differences and mental health challenges
- the constellation of common neurodivergent traits/differences, including sensory profiles, cognitive styles, executive function, communication styles, and social dynamics
- current data and relevance of neurodiversity to the legal profession for individuals, teams, and clients, including considerations for leadership, recruitment, and workplace accommodations
The webinar will include 60 minutes of presentation time and 15 minutes of open question and answer.
Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 1.25 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1.25 hours pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
