About the Course Chairs
Lindsay Goldberg earned his law degree from the University of Victoria in 1985 and completed his articles with a Victoria firm, working for a very busy foreclosure practitioner there for several years after his call to the bar before moving to Vancouver, where he's practiced since.
Lindsay has kept his practice focused primarily on retail collections and mortgage enforcement for his entire 40-year career. Lindsay and his colleague, Aron Hochhauser, together head up Fulton's Vancouver office representing some of Canada's largest institutional lenders to support retail mortgage default portfolio management.
Lindsay has participated in the creation and development of a web-based portal used by one of Canada's largest banks and his other institutional mortgage enforcement clients.
In his spare time, Lindsay plays trumpet for Vancouver community musical theatre production orchestras, including Theatre Under the Stars.
Aron Hochhauser is Senior Counsel and a co-leader of Fulton's Vancouver office with Lindsay Goldberg. Focusing his legal practice in security enforcement, financial services and litigation in the banking, finance and insurance industries, Aron represents financial institutions and private lenders in all aspects and related matters of mortgage enforcement and debt collection proceedings. He also specializes in dissolution of timeshare strata units and routinely represents homeowner associations with respect to partition and sale proceedings in the BC Supreme Court.
Aron is an instructor for the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) Legal Update course for mortgage brokers.
Aron was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Prior to his move to Vancouver in 2011, Aron was an associate at Epport, Richman and Robbins LLP in Los Angeles, and practiced in the areas of lender liability, foreclosure, and bankruptcy.
