About the Course Chair
Chelsea Wilson has a practice that is focused exclusively on the areas of wills, estates and trusts. She assists clients with estate planning and administration and also has a large estate litigation practice. She has represented clients in all levels of court in BC and in the Supreme Court of Canada. Chelsea has been practising at Ramsay Lampman Rhodes in Nanaimo since 2010. Before then, she worked at Lawson Lundell LLP and at Legacy Tax + Trust Lawyers in Vancouver.

Chelsea regularly writes and presents on a variety of estate-related topics. She is also a strong believer in the importance of giving back to the community and the profession. Chelsea served as an elected bencher of the Law Society of BC in 2020 and 2021. She has been a member of the Ethics, Practice Standards and Complainant's Review Committees at the Law Society. Prior to becoming a bencher, Chelsea served as the President of the Nanaimo County Bar Association for four years. She has served as a member of the CBABC's Professional Issues Committee since 2022 and has been a director of the Nanaimo Foundation for the past six years.

Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family and horses.
