About the Course Instructors
Dr. Megan Price is the Director of the Center for Applied Insight Conflict Resolution (CAICR) in Washington, DC. She holds her PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and a Masters in Reconciliation Studies. Her work focuses on designing reliable, context-based conflict communication skill-sets for professionals in fields that face conflict regularly. Her courses are grounded in the foundations of conflict decision-making and leverage strategic curiosity to generate the understanding and trust necessary for both deescalation and sustainable problem solving. Dr. Price is Adjunct Professor at George Mason University and Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University. She is an expert trainer committed to experiential, authentic learning techniques.

Sabina Smith has nearly a decade working within different law enforcement capacities and has more recently moved into a senior adjudicative role in the mental health field. She holds a Master's degree in Conflict Analysis and Management and is passionate about creating meaningful interactions between herself and others. She fosters this through the use of conscious curiosity and by sharing curiosity-based conflict communication skills as a trainer with the Center for Applied Insight Conflict Resolution.
