Join us in this interactive course to explore how communications with clients, witnesses, lawyers, and judges may become more effective using Street Epistemology, a communication method to help people reflect on the quality of their reasoning through civil conversations.
We will introduce how Socratic questions and critical thinking can be used to help promote rational resolution of litigious disputes by guiding individuals to critically evaluate their beliefs and align them more closely with facts, evidence, and the law. After learning how Street Epistemology works, you will be invited to discuss its application to your individual legal practices.
Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 2.75 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 2.75 hours pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
