What does it take to create a successful mentoring relationship? While some relationships form organically, you don't need to leave it to chance.

In this one-hour session, mentors and mentees alike will learn strategies and tools they can use to get the most out of their mentoring relationships. In particular, attendees will learn:

  • how to set themselves up for success by getting clear about what they're looking for in a mentoring relationship
  • how to create a mentoring agreement, including key terms of engagement that foster clarity, trust, accountability, and growth
  • simple and effective coaching strategies that mentors can use to mentor more effectively
  • examples and ideas for mentoring topics

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 1 hour (this course will contain a minimum of 1 hour pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management).
