Learning level: Intermediate/Advanced

In matters regarding self-governing professions, the practices, procedures, and rules are unique and frequently changing. After taking this program, you will:

  • know the most up to date practices, procedures, cases, and rules
  • be aware of the most recent trends and cases in constitutional issues and civil liability of regulators
  • understand the perspective of defendant's counsel in regulatory proceedings
  • gain information on legislative developments for regulators

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1 hour pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management).
