About the Course Chairs
Lisa Fong, KC is a partner at Ng Ariss Fong and her practice focuses on administrative law. In the area of professional regulatory law, she advises both professional regulatory bodies and professionals. Her work with professional regulatory bodies includes advising on governance, registration, quality assurance, inquiry and disciplinary matters, judicial reviews, and appeals. Lisa regularly speaks at conferences and provides educational offerings on a variety of professional regulatory and administrative law issues. Lisa is a contributor to CLEBC's British Columbia Administrative Law Practice Manual. Angela Westmacott, KC started her legal career at the Ministry of Attorney General, Legal Services Branch, practicing in the area of constitutional and administrative law. In 1997, she and Deborah Lovett, KC left the Ministry to establish their own public law firm in Victoria. Angela has extensive litigation experience and is general counsel for a broad array of regulatory bodies, including many self-governing professions. She has also conducted extensive training on administrative law and regulatory law issues for the province, various tribunals, and self-regulating professions over the years.

Angela is a past member of the Law Society Task Force on Regulating Law Firms, the Law Society's Unauthorized Practice Committee and Credentials Committee and is currently the vice-chair of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC Discipline Committee.
