Whether you are on the management or union side, understanding the perspective of the other is key to giving good advice and making good decisions. Benefit by learning from faculty from both sides of the bargaining table as they provide you with a balanced approach towards key developments and issues in labour law.

This year's conference will feature a lunch panel of industry experts who will discuss recent developments in the forestry industry and get you up to date on:

  • recent developments at the BC Labour Relations Board, including changes to the certification process
  • impacts of mandatory COVID-19 testing and vaccinations in the workplace on labour law moving forward
  • best practices for virtual arbitrations and mediations
  • Labour Relations Board, judicial review, and Charter cases of note

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 5.75 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 2 hours pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management). Please note: The CPD hours of the rebroadcast will either meet or exceed the CPD hours of the original live webinar course.
