Who should attend: All lawyers

Learning level: All levels

Lawyers are often expected to be perfectionists and are lauded for their keen eye for detail. Unfortunately, a by-product of this perfectionist tendency is a high level of pressure that creates intense scrutiny toward themselves, developing a fierce inner critic.

While our inner critic can sometimes help us avoid making bad decisions, when excessively negative, this self-talk can erode confidence, creating self-doubt that can sabotage both our professional and personal growth. In this one-hour course, lawyer coach Navneet Mann will:

  • discuss common examples of negative self-talk that lawyers engage in
  • examine how these internal dialogues can adversely affect your work, your judgment, and overall job satisfaction
  • provide you with tips to help you recognize when you are engaging in harmful self-talk
  • give you tools to shift your negative self-talk to a more empowering inner dialogue, so you can take intentional steps to support your personal and professional goals

Join us today to change the conversation with yourself.
