About the Course Instructors
Carol Cash was called to the BC bar in 2009. At Gehlen Dabbs, her practice focuses on insolvency matters including bankruptcy, security realization, and corporate restructuring. She also provides representation and advice to housing co-operatives, stratas and societies for various matters including bank financings, corporate governance, membership relations, terminations, human rights claims, and related litigation. Carol has lectured on insolvency issues for the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, Continuing Legal Education, and the Insolvency Discussion Group. She has been an author for CLEBC's Annual Review of Law & Practice and a co-author for the BC Creditors' Remedies Manual. She serves on the BC Supreme Court Bankruptcy Practice Committee, the executive committee of the Insolvency section of the CBA, and is the Past -President of the Young Insolvency Professionals Society.

Gregory Gehlen was called to the BC bar in 1984. His practice at Gehlen Dabbs focuses on insolvency matters including bankruptcy, security realization, and corporate restructuring. He is Chair of the Insolvency Discussion Group of Vancouver, a forum for licensed insolvency trustees and lawyers who practise insolvency, and is a member of  most professional organizations relating to insolvency such as the Canadian Insolvency Foundation and the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Practitioners.

He has lectured on insolvency issues at CLEBC conferences as well as conferences for other professional groups such as accountants and doctors, and for 18 years contributed to the chapter on bankruptcy and insolvency for CLEBC's Annual Review of Law & Practice.
