Here is your one-stop shop for a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of real estate practice in BC! Referencing CLEBC's British Columbia Real Estate Practice Manual, the expert faculty will take you through the essential issues and show you how to build a strong foundation in real estate law. Day 1 will include a thorough review of statement of adjustments, drafting a purchase contract, commercial property, and tax issues. Day 2 will cover due diligence, closing procedures, undertakings, mortgages, regulatory disclosure and transparency requirements, and what to do when things go wrong. You will take away tips and advice to turn theory into practice and pull it all together with success.
After taking this program, you will:
- understand the essential issues and procedures in real estate law
- gain useful and practical tips and advice on running your real estate practice
- be able to handle a real estate file from beginning to end
