Who should attend: Lawyers working in firms of all sizes, in-house counsel, and those working with the Department of Justice. This course may also be of interest to municipal officers, architects, engineers, urban developers, and consultants.

Learning level: All levels.

Tendering is a process which crosses multiple areas of legal practice and professional disciplines. This course focuses on the legal issues in tendering that affect construction, business, and municipal law. An optional early morning session on tendering fundamentals will prepare you for the day.

After taking this course, you will:

  • receive a solid grounding in tendering law
  • get your tendering case law update and discussion of recent decisions
  • take away tips and advice on key aspects of tendering
  • understand the differences and similarities between tenders vs. RFPs

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (For rebroadcasts: a minimum of 1.25 hours will involve professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
