This will be one of the most captivating and thought-provoking courses offered for family lawyers this year. Since this course was last held six years ago, much has changed. Under the Family Law Act, new issues and approaches will be canvassed such as valuation dates, fair market value, tax implications, the value of post-separation contributions, discretionary trust claims, and the impact of the BCCA’s V.J.F. decision on complex financial issues. Co-chairs Diane Bell, QC; Paul Daykin, QC; and Jeff Rose, QC will ensure this is a course that can’t be missed. See you there!
