Who should attend: Personal injury litigators, both plaintiff and defence, personal injury paralegals, and insurance industry personnel

Learning level: All levels

With legislative restrictions impacting motor vehicle personal injury claims, the personal injury landscape in BC continues to evolve. But this does not mean that personal injury practice is about to disappear anytime soon. Motor vehicle cases in the pipeline will continue to be litigated, but other types of claims are on the rise, and questions of law and practice continue to be important.

If you are a personal injury litigator, this conference is still your must-attend event of the year. As with past conferences, the centrepiece will be the comprehensive case law and legislation update—this year we welcome new presenters. Rounding out this year's program are sessions on sexual assault civil claims, working with experts, and much more!

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1 hour pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)

Course Chairs
Gurminder Sandhu, KC — Hamilton Duncan Law Corporation, Surrey
Krista L. Simon — Hammerco Lawyers LLP, Vancouver
