Join our experienced faculty and learn the practical aspects of running a family law file, from interviewing the client to case management to litigation techniques. Attendees will receive tips and advice that put theory into practice and learn how to develop a practice in this area.

After taking this program, you will:

  • be able to handle all aspects of a family law file
  • have tips and advice on how to deal effectively with clients
  • be aware of disclosure and discovery, judicial case conferences, experts, and spousal and child support
  • gain knowledge of practice in Provincial Court, in Chambers, and before the Registrar
  • understand how to use different methods to resolve family law issues

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 11 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 2 hours pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management). Please note: The CPD hours of the rebroadcast will either meet or exceed the CPD hours of the original live webinar course.
