Understanding and responding to conflict in the workplace

Who should attend: Lawyers, mediators, investigators, and other conflict resolution professionals interested in developing skills and learning processes for dealing with conflict in the workplace

Learning level: All levels

This two-day course will be a hands-on opportunity to understand the framework of conflict resolution tools available to support workplace conflict resolution. Every workplace conflict has its own unique challenges and opportunities.

There is an array of workplace conflict resolution tools available, and at this course, we will consider when and how to apply the tools, the fundamentals of workplace mediation and workplace investigation processes, and practice the skills necessary to ensure an effective and fair process for the parties and the employer.

This course counts for 6.0 ADR CPD hours.  

Mediate BC Roster mediators will receive 20% off the full regular course registration fee. Please contact Customer Service to register.

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 12 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1 hour pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
