New to employment law practice?

This foundational course provides a practical introduction to employment law across the full lifecycle of the employment relationshipfrom hiring, to workplace management, to exit. Designed for new lawyers, experienced practitioners transitioning to employment law, and paralegals, this program focuses on core legal principles, processes, and documents encountered in everyday practice.

By attending this course, you will build confidence in navigating employment contracts, workplace policies, and dismissal, while developing some practical skills to advise clients thoughtfully in today's workplace.

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 3 hours (this course does not contain professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
