Who should attend: Civil litigators in a broad cross-section, including, but not limited to: corporate, commercial, securities, real property, and employment

Learning level: All levels

In today's fast-moving legal landscape, early intervention can make or break a case. Whether you're acting for private clients or public bodies, interim remedies and injunctions are powerful tools that can secure meaningful outcomes before trial.

At this practical course, you'll explore how litigants are increasingly using interim remedies like Mareva, Norwich, and Anton Piller injunctions, preservation and charging orders, garnishment, and other tools to advance their cases.

Lawyers from a diverse range of practice, including IP, commercial, family, estate, and personal injury litigation, and regulatory defence present how these tools are used in different practice settings. Attendees will get a thorough briefing on the latest law and important practice tools and tips.

Learn how and when to seek these remedies—and how to defend against them—when waiting for a trial date isn't an option.

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (this course will contain a minimum of 1 hour pertaining to professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
