9:00 am – 4:30 pm (both days)
KPMG, 11th Floor - 777 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver
or attend via webinar for day one only

Who should attend: All lawyers and conflict resolution professionals interested in learning new skills and approaches to resolving conflict.

Learning level: All levels

Every lawyer and conflict resolution professional must navigate a wide variety of conflicts. The range of conflicts the modern professional is called on to assist parties' resolve is vast; from the interpersonal, to business and workplace disputes, to disagreement with government or regulatory bodies. These conflicts may arise in the course of deal-making, form the basis for a litigation matter, or even come up in our personal lives.

Effective conflict management and resolution skills are essential for the modern professional. In this conference you will:

  • expand your mediator's toolbox beyond an interest-based approach
  • engage with thought-leaders in recognizing and addressing structural conflict through specific conflict occurences
  • learn how restorative principles and practices can be applied to add breadth to your conflict resolution processes and strengthen outcomes

Attend both days and have the opportunity on the second day to learn and practice new skills and approaches in half-day workshops.  Day 1 is available as a stand-alone conference if you would prefer to attend only the first day.
