- some of the important changes coming under the new Act
- when the new legislation applies to societies and what else happens on the in-force date
- how (and when) to transition existing societies to the new Act
- when to update or adopt new bylaws to ensure compliance with the new Act
- whether the new model's bylaws are appropriate for your organization
- whether your organization can make use of the new “member funded society” status
