Who should attend: Corporate paralegals and legal support staff, articling students, and lawyers with 1 – 2 years experience, or in-house counsel looking for a refresher on corporate procedures.

Learning level: Fundamental/Intermediate

In this 4-part series you will learn the corporate procedures, filings, and issues related to the inception, growth, and continuation of a company in BC. You will discover the information that you need to gather, the issues you need to consider, and the documents that you need to prepare. Let the experts show you how to perform the key tasks. The courses in the Corporate Procedures Series are:

I. Incorporation & Organization—Tuesday, February 24, 2015
II. Changes in Ownership & Management—Tuesday, April 21, 2015
III. Fundamental Changes—Tuesday, May 12, 2015
IV. New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA)—Tuesday, June 2, 2015

Rebroadcasts: All 4 courses in the series are rebroadcast on (1) Thursdays in April, May & June; and (2) Wednesday, July 22 as part of the "Summer Series 2015". Those who register for the series may attend any or all of these rebroadcasts for FREE, giving you 3 opportunities to attend each course. Please contact Customer Service to confirm your spot.

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours for the series. This series of 4 courses will NOT involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management. NOTE: If you attend both the original live course AND a rebroadcast, you may claim credit for ONLY ONE of them.
