Who should attend: Lawyers with 1 – 3 years experience advising businesses; experienced lawyers or in-house counsel who seek a refresher or primer on key areas of corporate law.

Learning level: Fundamental/Intermediate

In this course you will learn how to advise clients on creating and setting up a business and provide initial operating tips.

This is the 1st course in the Business Basics series, a 6-part CLE-TV series designed to provide you with an overview of the basic principles in corporate law and how to use them effectively in practice so that you have the big picture in mind when advising a business.

This series uses the CLEBC publication Advising British Columbia Businesses as its course materials and resource guide.
