Join us for a practical guide to issues that lawyers face when advising clients on how to manage social media in their workplace. At this program, you will learn about...

  • key issues to address when drafting and implementing social media policies
  • what can and can’t be policed on employees’ social media accounts (i.e. off duty vs. on duty conduct)
  • how to stop or mitigate harm to clients when dealing with negative and defamatory comments and/or trademark infringement on social media
  • practical tips for lawyers when using social media for business development

This is the 3rd course in the Business & Technology series, a 5-part CLE-TV series on legislative updates and how they affect your client’s business, common technology, intellectual property and privacy issues that business lawyers face, and best practices for managing information in this digital age for both your clients and your own practice.
