The Designated Family Law Paralegal Workshop

DescriptionMore DetailAgenda

Wednesday, September 10, 2014
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Pan Pacific Hotel, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver

Who should attend: All family law paralegals currently designated and those family paralegals wishing to become designated.

Learning level: Advanced

This workshop will give you an opportunity to not only hear from senior counsel and existing designated paralegals, but also gain hands-on experience practicing advocacy skills in a courtroom-like setting. If you are a current designated family law paralegal or are aspiring to become one soon, the chance to try out your skills in a safe environment could prove invaluable as you further your career. Hear from a colleague as she shares the highlights and lessons learned from her courtroom experience, get tips on preparing for court, and actually SEE what works and what doesn't work.

Due to the interactive nature of this workshop, it will not be offered online as a Live Webinar.

After this course you will...

  • have the tools you need to become a designated paralegal
  • have the confidence to excel in your expanded role (if you are already designated)
